MWAC is well known across the state as the organization which brings internationally renowned speakers into our towns, universities, and school rooms.

GeoQuest

GeoQuest is designed for elementary and middle school students, but all grades are welcome to participate. Come travel the world with us!

Global Educator of the Year

Each year, the Montana World Affairs Council is pleased to honor an educator who has made exceptional contributions to broadening the global horizons of their students and colleagues.

Global Gauntlet

A Trivia Competition of Global Proportions. With a unique twist on fundraising, Global Gauntlet puts the fun into an annual fundraiser!

Council on the Radio

We reach listeners across Western Montana through our partnership with News Talk Radio – KVGO AM 1290 and FM 101.5, bringing you live discussion with international policy experts and dignitaries from around the world.

Academic WorldQuest

Since 2005, Academic WorldQuest has provided over 3,000 Montana students with an immersive global experience and the opportunity to engage in a wide range of interactive, international education programs. Academic WorldQuest is annually held in Missoula, MT in March.

Virtual Exchange

The doors of a classroom open to the world through a Virtual Exchange Program. Students from varying backgrounds share different ideas, traditions, and knowledge in facilitated discussions over several virtual meet-ups.

Webcasts

We have brought our Distinguished Speaker Program online! Our webcasts “Connect Montana” and "What, So What, Now What" has hosted over 100 guests, reaching over 10,000 viewers.

EconoQuest

EconoQuest online platform and in person conference provides Montana high school students with a unique opportunity to engage with local companies and government leaders about economics, business investment planning, international trade, and future career paths. EconoQuest Conference is annually held in Bozeman, MT in October.

International Careers Week

International Career Week is held virtually in early February. Join the Montana World Affairs Council as we cover a range of different international career opportunities.
