Nikki Geiszler

PROGRAMS DIRECTOR / Staff

Nikki Geiszler serves as Programs Director for the Montana World Affairs Council. Originally from Florida, Nikki attended the University of Florida, earning a B.A. in Anthropology and Classical Studies. During this time, she volunteered at the Florida Museum of Natural History, studied abroad to work on an archaeological Medieval Roads Project in Athlone, Ireland, and spent two years on Kingsley Plantation for archaeological work in northern Florida. In 2013, she moved to Missoula, Montana to attend the University of Montana and earned her M.A. in Anthropology, specializing in children and childhood studies and socialization practices in differing cultures. After graduating, she worked as the Catering and Sales Manager for The Barn on Mullan, winning The Best Venue award by Missoula Choice during her first year. She is a strong believer in the importance of studying and learning about different cultures and international travel. In the last few years, she has traveled to a variety of places such as Iceland, Singapore, Thailand, Italy, and many other nations.

She joined the Council in 2017 and currently lives with her husband, Sam, and their two kids Charlotte and Oliver.
