Academic WorldQuest 2020 Scholarship Application

The Montana World Affairs Council strives to bring international education opportunities to high school students across the state. With support from the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation and various other organizations, the Council will award a limited number of scholarships to schools new and traveling to Montana’s Academic WorldQuest competition in order to enhance our international education outreach efforts throughout the state of Montana.

Academic WorldQuest Scholarships will be awarded based on the needs of the school from which the teams are representing. Funds may be used to cover transportation, lodging, substitute teacher fees, and additional meals.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20th. REGISTRATION FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION.

Top priority for scholarships will be given to schools that complete the scholarship application and submit their registration form and photo release forms by the deadline. Schools may still be considered for a scholarship after the deadline but will not be given top priority.

Schools will be notified of scholarship money by Friday, January 17th (at the latest).

Note: If you are awarded scholarship money and for any reason are unable to attend Academic WorldQuest, the school is required to return the scholarship money to Montana World Affairs Council immediately.

Eligibility:

  • Priority for schools who have not participated previously in AWQ
