Do you know an outstanding teacher, colleague, or friend that goes above and beyond to promote global understanding and foster international engagement with their students?

We would like to recognize them for their continued dedication to connecting students to the world around them!

As part of the Council’s Global Education Initiatives, we are excited to announce the 5th Annual Global Educator of the Year Award to take place on March 5th at the Council’s 14th Annual Academic WorldQuest Competition in Missoula. Additionally, the winner will receive a $500 donation to purchase international classroom materials, publications, and resources, generously donated by Dr. Edwin and Janet House. The honoree will also be named in media releases highlighting their accomplishments and dedication.

Nominations may come from a principal, colleague, parent, or student that can speak to the educator’s strengths as they relate to this award.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • January 19th: Deadline to submit nominations
