Consul General Hyung-jong Lee: Focus on South Korea
Please join the Montana World Affairs Council for a virtual program with Consul General Lee who will be discussing the Republic of Korea’s culture, geography, current events, and the similarities/ differences between South Korea and Montana.

This program is part of Montana World Affairs Council’s GeoQuest program.
All grades are welcome to attend the program. Students do not need to be participating in the GeoQuest program in order to attend the program.
All Montana World Affairs Council youth programs are free.
Consul General Hyung-jong Lee Bio
Consul General Hyung-jong Lee has had a distinguished career with the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), which he joined in 1990, after graduating from Seoul National University. From 1992 to 1994 Consul General Lee earned his M.A. degree in Economic Science at University College in Dublin, Ireland. Throughout his career, Consul General Lee has served the Korean government in various positions in France, Libya, and Cambodia. Before coming to the Pacific Northwest in December of 2017, Consul General Lee was Director-General for Global Economic Affairs for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seoul.
