Academic WorldQuest prepares high school students for the growing challenges they may face in an increasingly global, yet interconnected world. It is our hope that through their participation in Academic WorldQuest, Montana students will have the opportunity to develop a greater sense of the world around them and the possibilities for them on the global stage. Academic WorldQuest also helps to demonstrate for the students that we are all part of a larger landscape. Academic WorldQuest is more than a competition; it is an opportunity to engage students from across Montana, in conversations and engaging analysis of international affairs and responsible global citizenship.

Schools can participate in all programs and the competition, certain programs and the competition, certain or all programs only, or competition only.

Academic WorldQuest is FREE to all schools and will be held VIRTUALLY.

2021 Academic WorldQuest programs will be held from Monday, March 1st – Wednesday, March 3rd.

The Academic WorldQuest competition will be held on Thursday, March 4th.

Academic WorldQuest topics will be announced in mid-September. Montana’s Academic WorldQuest study guide will be released in late- October.

For the first time, there will be an Academic WorldQuest Prep Online Platform which will be available to all participating educators and students in late January.
